THE TATTIEBOGLE

The idea by Director Douglas Kyle was simple - create a slasher style movie like Halloween or Friday The 13th,  but with a Chaos Box twist! 

Using Folklore as the backbone, Douglas set to work creating a story which wasted no time in getting to the monster in all its glory, while treating the human characters like mince meat! 

Part of his day job was to write a Ghost Tour for Halloween, which would focus on Scottish Myths and Legends. During a rehearsal of the tour, Douglas realized it was too short so quickly grab a distance memory from his research and told a quick story of a fabled, horrifying living scarecrow - The Tattiebogle. The reaction from the Test Audience was very positive, and so Douglas set this as his next idea for a project.

As time progressed, the story became more focused on the Folklore Aspects of the myth. blending slasher horror with folklore mythology.
