 A Climate Scientist is investigating the Scottish Town of Caber Cove, unaware of the true horror that awaits them..  FOLK HORROR from Award Winning Scottish Production Company.  Made on a micro-budget, "The Corn Doll" explores the climate crisis, the dangers of obsessive religion and the true horror behind myth and folklore.

The Plot

 Investigating mysterious climate readings at the remote Scottish coastal town of Caber Cove, a Climate Activist unwittingly becomes involved in a terrifying and mysterious race against time...Evil Forces are at play, and soon the horrifying truth becomes clear...  What is the secret behind Caber Cove?  Why are 2 men stopping at nothing to find the town?  And who or what is hidden inside the mysterious Corn Doll? 

 Made by the award winning Scottish Film Company, "The Corn Doll" is a folklore horror / thriller / Sci-Fi written and directed by Douglas Kyle. Made in the cast & crews spare time, it mixes creativity with ingenuity and delivers a creepy Wicker Man style film based on folklore, myth and conspiracy theories.... 

Behind the scenes...

Filmed over the winter of 2024 / 25, "The Corn Doll" was a tough shoot, with lots of dialogue scenes and last minute re-writes due to availability, weather and technical issues.

The Corn Doll has wrapped production and is currently going round Film Festivals...
